In Part 1, Bubber Share, the aggressive lion, decides to leave London for Pakistan. In this new environment, because of his selfish behaviour, he immediately makes three deadly enemies – the lawyer, the butcher and the zoo keeper, who all have legitimate grudges against the lion. Separately and together, they make repeated attacks and plots against the lion. The problems of Bubber Share's teenage children is the second element of the story. It is dealt with sympathetically and with a touch of humour.
The action again is fast and furious for the lion family in Part 2. Rani (the daughter) tries to elope; Raja (the son), having difficulty becoming an engineer, is invited by his arch-enemy to an interview – can he be trusted? After another failed attempt at revenge, the butcher unexpectedly wants friendship – can he be trusted? And why does Raja want to see Afzal, the lawyer, who has been his number one enemy? The Director is up to his usual tricks as well. Above all, will Raja become a great engineer? Find out in this second part of the tale, which is more suitable for older teenagers.
