Subterranean Emerald City Blues


A story taken from the authors life as a youth in Seattle during the late 80's and early 90's. Though centered mainly around a sorrowful encounter with a younger street kid, it also details aspects of life on the streets of Seattle during that era.
The story contains occaisional vulgar language, and deals with the rather brutal reality of street life, teenage prostitution, petty crime and substance use. If you're looking for advocacy of those types of things you won't find it here. If you're looking for some kind of inspirational tale about endeavoring to persevere or triumphing in the face of adversity, you won't find it here without being able to grok subtext..
