This book is a work or non-fiction. Its purpose is to raise awareness and stir the conscious of the fact that we are all going to die. Most of us already know this fact, but we avoid thinking about it, or talking about it. We feel quite comfortable to discuss the dying process, or death of someone else, but to entertain the thought of our own demise, we’d rather not. We actually feel uncomfortable and even awkward to verbally admit that we, ourselves, will someday die. Because of death’s mystery, great fear surrounds the very subject of talking about our own death. Fear has great power. And in this case, it works totally against us in preparing for our own departure. Since no one who has died ever came back to tell us what death is really like, fear continues to hold its grip. My mission is to ease some of that fear and reveal the importance of making preparation. Understanding breaks the power of fear. Truth lifts all the deception surrounding what happens to our spirits after this life ends. The passage, in this respect, is the journey, or process of life that leads to our final days, physical death, and resting place. For each soul, the journey is as unique as the DNA that identifies us. The commonality of life’s passage is that each soul born into this world will ultimately leave it. The surprising thing is that we have total control over what happens to our spirits afterwards - life after physical death. This book is written to dispel the widely accepted myth that we are all going to heaven when we die. Not everyone will be warmly welcomed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father after death. This myth is a good cliché for funerals, but it is neither Scriptural, nor the truth of what really happens to our spirits after death. My hope is that while we are yet alive, from this book, we will learn fact from fiction concerning our final destination and the passage that leads to our desired resting place.
