We tell the story of two old but new neighbouring wine regions Baja, Mexico and San Diego, USA.Wine has long been made on Mexican land, regional winemaking harking back to the Spanish conquest of the 1500s. But as an industry, Mexican wine is still very new. San Diego was the first region where the Jesuits planted grapes when they traveled up through Mexico to settle what is now California. Like Baja, San Diego is also a very young wine region. Unlike most histories we tell the stories of the regions through the voices of the winemakers.
