Snowshoeing for Beginners


Snowshoeing is a great outdoor activity to do during the winter when snow has accumulated on the ground. It can burn twice as many calories as walking, at about 600 calories per hour. It is inexpensive to start snowshoeing as a hobby since all you need is a pair of snowshoes. Poles are optional if you don't wander too far from the trails, but they can help you keep your balance until you master your snowshoeing gait.
