From early childhood Louise Wilder had her sights set firmly on the stars and the Intergalactic Police Force (IGP). Slavery is not a crime confined to the far reaches of history. It is an injustice that continues to entrap twenty-seven million people across the globe. Laura Murphy offers close to forty survivor narratives from Cambodia, Ghana, Lebanon, Macedonia, Mexico, Russia, Thailand, Ukraine, and the United States, detailing the horrors of a system…
Lou replaces Captain Alex Roe who is missing in action and goes undercover on a masculine dominated non IG planet where she is assigned to the team of Rye O’Sander. Together they investigate the violent abductions of Arasians citizens and the possible link between abductions of IG citizens elsewhere in the galaxy.
After the attempted hostile takeover of Lou via nanite impregnated material programmed to assemble a mind control device, she is abducted and wakes to find herself strapped to a table in a medical facility. She hasn’t woken alone, the nanites in her bloodstream aid her whilst she is incapacitated and assemble an A.I. inside her brain. With the aid of the nanites and the A.I. Lou escapes only to find herself in more trouble as she has to confront cyborgs and rescue their prisoners.
