Saint Dnyanadev, also famously known as Dnyaneshwar, was a 13th century saint from Maharashtra in India. His commentary on Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, titled DnyaneshwarI, is erudite and reveals many facets of Yoga science not found in any other commentary on Gita. His poetic compositions, called Abhangas, are replete with devotion and guidance to the seekers of salvation. One such construct of 27 Abhangas is known as the Haripatha. It is immensely devotional and the followers of the Varakari sect, devoted to Lord Vitthala of Pandharpur sing those asa routine. This author did not find many English renditions of the Haripatha. Hence for the benefit of the devout who do not know Marathi or prefer to read in English, an exquisite rendition of the Haripatha is presented by him herein this small booklet. Depending upon the interest shown by the readers, he proposes to come up with a detailed commentary on the Haripatha, throwing more light upon the mysterious ways of worship that are prevalent in small circles in India and abroad. The Haripatha is religion neutre, meaning its preacing applies to almost any religion that values the name, the fame and the devotional ways to pray to the Lord Almighty. It is basically secular in its nature. One may just substitute the name of his Lord in place of Hari, Rama and Krishna et al to start testing the elixir of the Haripatha.
