Two men thwarted the launch of a nuclear-tipped Titan missile in the fall of 1997. Both the evidence, and the story behind this event, were hidden sixteen years ago. After years of research the risk of uncovering this event is triumphed by its disclosure. In the late 1950’s the Central Intelligence Agency deemed the Air Force command and control of the nuclear missile arsenal as unreliable. To rectify the deficiency, a CIA Group Chief covertly commissioned construction of a Virginia nuclear missile facility under his Group’s control. In 1963, to hide his actions, he buried the site, and its Air Force Commander. Over thirty years later three forces converge as they race to unearth and launch the one remaining nuclear-tipped Titan Inter-continental Ballistic missile.
