Layoff and Kant’s Ethical Theory


In light of the given economic crisis in the United States and increasing unemployment, some legislators have considered proposing a policy that would require companies to lay off or fire their H-1 workers before laying off or firing any other full-time American workers. Would such a law be supported by Kant’s ethical theory?
