There is a very common Christian teaching about when the Rapture of the Church happens, named “Pre-Trib.”

The “Rapture” is an event involving believers being caught up (i.e., “Raptured”) from the Earth and being gathered to Jesus, spoken of in the New Testament in 1 Thessalonians:
1Thes 4:17 Then we who are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
Other Scriptures refer to that event as well. There doesn’t seem to be much discussion about whether the event will happen. The real differences of opinion is regarding when it happens.
