This is the second edition of The New World Crisis, a short history of the Second Cold War and, perhaps, the origins of the Third World War. Unlike traditional histories, it is intended to be a living document which I will regularly update to account for new developments and interpretations. It provides a concise overview of the causes of the crisis, its likely outcomes and its potential impact on how we conduct international relations.
