Whittington Manor


Whittington Manor is a Second World War love story. It is 1939 Sarah Whittington is a young girl of 16 years, the youngest child of Lord and Lady Whittington. She meets Joe Lambert, a land worker from Portsmouth, their coincidental meeting on top of Portsdown Hill, Portchester was the start of a very special love, but coming from two extremely different social backgrounds, Sarah and Joe are forced to keep their love secret until war breaks out and Joe is sent to fight for England, while Sarah follows her dream of being a nurse.
When Sarah is told that Joe has been killed in the war, Sarah falls into the arms of Edward Hamilton. By manipulating his way into the family, Edward’s cunning plan pays off when Sarah agrees to marry him. All he has to do is wait until her 21st birthday to get his hands on her fortune. 
In a startling turn of events a body is found brutally murdered on the grounds of Portchester Castle, the evidence points to Sarah as the main suspect and she is arrested for murder. The battle is on for Mr Shaw, Sarah’s solicitor, to save her but has she really lost everything and everyone around her? Her fate suddenly takes an unexpected turn, when a ghost from the past proves otherwise.
