In 2011, Samia's deep faith and love for the Lord Jesus Christ was put to the ultimate test when she was diagnosed with horrific diseases that have aggressively attacked her spinal cord: primary progressive multiple sclerosis (M.S.), cervical stenosis, and myelopathy. Over a short span of time, she became severely disabled—unable to walk, write, or take care of her most basic needs—and suffered constant debilitating pain and overall weakness.
