The town was set upon by horrible creatures led by an even greater monster; one determined to destroy the people of that town.
The people were forced to remain inside, day and night, week after week, month after month.
Many came to help them, however none succeeded. They would arrive, but just as soon flee upon sight of the creatures. The townspeople had abandoned all hope, and resolved to adapt to their new way of life. They resolved to abandon the sun, the fresh air, and the outside world as a whole.
Then one day, two knights appeared in that humble town- well, one knight, and a sort of knight-in-training. Regardless, they appeared and soon after, everything changed.
Of course, as with all things, this change would come with a price. Neither knight would ever be the same.
In fact, the world would never be the same.
