Over the past decades it has been the norm for the world to lock themselves away while another slew of innocent victims die at the hands of the unknown. It isn’t until one woman, a survivor, gains the power and support to unravel it all.
Amara Wright, self-proclaimed idiot, lives in a world that is taken over by an unidentified species. One man, by the name of Demetri Warner, captivates every fiber of her body even though they haven’t spoken a word to each other. Not only does Amara feel this unnatural attachment to this mysterious man, her best friend, Nina “perfect” Garrison, will do anything in her power to keep them apart once and for all. Usually being the cautious one in fear of her life, one careless mistake after another in turn causes Amara to be caught outside after curfew where her death is imminent. After a night of blood shedding horror, her final mistake entraps her by no other than Demetri himself, and he becomes her savior. Witnessing what happens behind closed doors, down to the beautiful animals that reign the night, Amara unknowingly starts the catastrophic chain of events that will change her life forever.
