STITCHES – Gut-bustlingly, hilariously, and outrageously funny. The story depicts the day-to-day comical lifestyles and hustles in adjoining small cities in the backwoods of Alabama. Lottery addict Boogey Johnson and his trouble-starting first cousin Winton take you on a daily ride through their lives, which are comical, and sometimes down-right rude in nature as they find themselves mixed up with crooked law officials and a gang of mobster-type misfits. Reverend Ronald (Rev), an ex-gang member turned born-again spiritual leader, spends his days educating others about life through the Spiritual Word, but finds his past haunting him as he continually is visited both by fleshly and spiritual demons. Boogey finds himself in a special visit with an old friend turned rival, the king of pranks and mastermind of deception, Melley, who deceptively plots against Boogey for revenge. Boogey, Winton, and their coworkers are unable to distinguish their professional lives from everyday play, and their nonstop, childish behavior spills over into the workplace as they delight other workers and constantly piss off their bosses. Financially struggling, Boogey and his wife Nattie embark on a shopping spree after pranked into thinking they are mega jackpot winners, but find themselves in debt, and in even deeper trouble with creditors and old-school gang members. As for Winton, if making enemies of a corrupt sheriff is not enough, he turns around and get caught up with a notorious, dangerous, country drug lord who stops at nothing to punish those who cheat him.
